Standard Class Rules
These rules apply to each section in the Ag Pavilion.
- Late entries may be accepted at the pavilion coordinators discretion.
- Pavilion will close promptly at Saturday 7PM.
- Entry fees: 50c per entry except childrens which is free.
Agricultural Pavilion Conditions of Entry
- All care will be taken of exhibits, but no responsibility will be held by the Temora Show Society, its members or volunteers. The committee shall not be responsible for any damage or loss to exhibits, any accident that may be caused through, or by, an exhibit and it shall be a condition of entry that each exhibitor shall hold the committee harmless and indemnified against any legal proceedings arising from any action, loss or damage for non-delivery of any exhibit.
- All decisions of the judges are final.
- Exhibitors must follow the requests of the stewards at all times. Only stewards, committee & judges are allowed in the pavilion during judging.
- The judges reserve the right to reject or remove any exhibit and will give a reason for doing so.
- The pavilion will also be open on Sunday after show day between 1030 am – 3 pm.
- Prize money can be collected on show day at the secretary’s office from 2 pm – 4 pm on show day. Any money not collected by 31st October will be forfeited. Your generosity will assist in the running of the agricultural pavilion next year.
A.S.C. COMPETITIONS
RAS/ASC COUNTRY SHOW CHAMPIONS CLASS SPECIAL CLASS CONDITIONS
Entries must be lodged and will be catalogued in the name of the Agricultural Association/Society followed by the Fleece owner’s name in brackets. The time frame for the winning Fleeces is 20 February 2019 (Closing Day of Entry for Fleece Classes at the 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show) to the Closing Day of Entry of Fleece Classes for the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show (17 February 2021).
CLASS 572 - Skirted Merino Fleece An ASC plaque for the winner, presented by the Agricultural Societies Council of NSW. The winner of this Class will also receive the Patrick Keast Award Ribbon.
Patrick Keast was an RAS Councilor and ASC Board Member and was instrumental in introducing this Class in 2005. Patrick continued promoting the Class until his death in 2014.
NON– COMPETITIVE DISPLAYS |
Each year schools, local community groups and organizations are invited to display in the pavilion. The Neville Oliver trophy is awarded to the best display on the day by an independent judge.
As proud residents of the Temora Shire we all play an integral part of the legacy that is left on the hearts and minds of every individual who walks along our main street or through these showground gates for decades to come as they have in decades past.
