CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: GATE FEE: Adult‐ $10.00, Children Over 12‐$5.00, Children Under 12‐FREE, Concession (Seniors)‐$5.00 Family Pass‐$25.00 (2 x Adults, 2 x Children Over 12). NO CHANGES will be made to the schedule within 7 days of the show. IDEMNITY FORM/PIC NUMBER ALL riders and handlers must sign an indemnity form and provide horse identification and PIC number (property identification code) details before they enter ring. The Temora Show Society maintains the right to randomly drug test horse entries under the Disciplinary Rules of the ASC.
ENTRIES: Each competitor must enter under his or her own name. Competitor’s number will be given when filling in entry/waiver form at caravan.
ENTRY FEES TO HORSE EVENTS: $10 block entry per horse 1 number per horse (rings 1‐6). Show jumping: Event 1 - $5, Event 2 $5. Event 3 - $7. Event 4 - $7. Event 5 - $10. Event 6 - $10. PRIZE MONEY; Champion and Supreme ribbons. Ribbons for 1st to 4th for general classes. JUDGING: Judging will commence punctually as per the timetable; general classes will not be held up for competitors in other events. Champion classes may be held up at the judge’s discretion.
LOOSE BOXES: A limited number of loose boxes for stallions are available for rental at $10 per day. Pay at Caravan in main ring early Saturday. These cannot be guaranteed without prior booking; bookings to be made with the ringmaster via email. No bookings will be taken for open stalls. BREED CLASS: All Exhibitors exhibiting in breed classes must carry registration papers and produce them on request. Exhibits must be registered in current owner’s name. Exhibitors in breed classes MUST be CURRENT financial members of relevant breed society (if required) and produce membership cards if requested. Competitors must choose between Open Classes and Show Hunter Classes.
LOCAL: The word LOCAL, in all horse sections, shall mean within a radius of 40 kilometres from the Temora Post Office.
NEWCOMER: The word NEWCOMER shall mean a horse 3 years of age and over who have not competed under saddle in any discipline (TB racing excluded) prior to 1st January of this year.
DISPUTES: Any person wishing to lodge a protest must provide a written complaint to the ringmaster, along with $50, which may be forfeited if the protest is found frivolous.
DOUBLE CHANCE RINGS: If you win first, champion in an event ring 1 or 2, then you are ineligible for the same event in the second chance ring.
